Yellow Dog is excited to announce the addition of Plummer’s Lodges in the Northwest Territories to our Canada program! After an onsite visitation this past summer, we’ve added the Plummer’s Great Bear Lake Lodge and Tree River Outpost programs.

Inhabited by only 40,000 residents – the Northwest Territories is about 1.17 million square kilometers of mountains, forests, arctic tundra, rivers and lakes. Due to the remote nature of the fishery and the short summer season, Great Bear Lake sees only about 300 anglers a year and the Tree River sees even fewer. In operation for more than 60 years, Plummer’s Great Bear Lake Lodge boasts the all tackle world records for both Lake Trout and Graying, and the Tree River Outpost has the all-class world record arctic char.

Capt Jack Productions founder, Yellow Dog ambassador and worldwide angling aficionado, South African-born Jako Lucas will be hosting a Yellow Dog group for this coming August to Great Bear Lake Lodge with and included fly-out to the Tree River Outpost, and one (1) grayling fly-out! Space is limited and will not last.
